We are delighted to invite you to the Second Congress of the European Federation of Neuropsychiatry . The Congress will gather specialists working in the fields of behavioural neurology, neuropsychiatry, neuropsychopharmacology, neuropsychology and clinical neurosciences. Lectures and communications will target conditions at the interface between neurology and psychiatry. Key topics will include, but will not be limited to, Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms in Dementia, Epilepsy, Parkinson's Disease, Psychogenic Movement Disorders, Pain and Headache, Traumatic Brain Injury and Somatoform Disorders. Special attention will be devoted to the pharmacological treatment of psychiatric disturbances associated with neurological disorders. The target audience will embrace clinical and behavioural neurologists, neuropsychiatrists, child neurologists, and neuropsychologists, as well as neuropsychopharmacologists and clinical neuroscientists. The Congress will provide the neuropsychiatric community with a unique opportunity for exchange of ideas and constructive discourse as did the first Congress of this series (Munich 2005).

The Congress will take place in the Convitto della Calza which dates from the 14th century and is a building of great beauty with its 15th century cloister, the fresco of the Last Supper by Franciabigio (1514) and the Cardinal Mistrangelo chapel. The Convitto della Calza is strategically located in the heart of the historical center of Florence , on the Oltrarno, surrounded by remarkable works of the Renaissance.
